ABOUT THE SHOW:
Recent Bemis Center resident David Matysiak hosts a listening and release party for the limited edition box set of five vinyl records which archive the Telephono project, a testament to creativity in how musicians interpret one another’s work.

Musicians from around the globe - including The Faint, Tilly and the Wall, Cursive, Mew and the Concretes - altered Matysiak’s recordings before passing them along to the next artist to form totally transmuted works that retained only mere echoes of the original piece. Live visuals will be provided by Jadon Ulrich. Telephono has been featured on NPR and in USA Today, so venture into the Underground to hear firsthand what all the buzz is about.
