ABOUT THE SHOW
If good things come in threes, then this is as good as it gets: Tugboat Presents and the bemisUNDERGROUND close out the Three Saturdays Art Series by showcasing performers from all musical genres as they pursue various media in the visual arts. Many of the featured musicians have degrees in visual art, design their own album art and use visual media as extensions to the art of songwriting. You don't want to miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity to see some of the music field's best & brightest showing a different side of their creativity. "Figurative Work by Four," Part 2's exhibition featuring work by Claudia Alvarez, Jake Gillespie, Seth Johnson and Ashley Wick is also on display.

Plus, you can get up close and personal with our current group of Artists-in-Residence during a special Open Studios that starts at 4:00 pm and goes until 7:00 pm. And welcome resident Jamie O'Shea as he returns "from the past." O'Shea has kept himself locked in his studio since midnight, January 1. He blocked out windows, set artificial light on timers, turned back his clock and put all news and internet communication on a delay. In short, O'Shea's been living a 36-hour day, while the rest of us have continued on 24. His exodus on January 19th at 8:00 p.m. will send him six days into his future -- and into our present day.
